Murder Mystery Night @ MPL

New Adult Services employee Megan Mosher, with the help of Circulation staff member Heather Brouse, coordinated our library’s recent 5th annual Murder Mystery Night on November 5th. Over ten staff members participated- five were characters, and the rest served as support. We had just as many volunteers from the community to aid in its’ success!murdermysterynight_castlineup

This years’ theme, Murder in the Keys, had us set in Key West, celebrating the renaming of the library in honor of local author, Ernie Hammyweight. When he doesn’t show up for the reception, guests start to get nervous, and the local detective appears and starts the accusations. From here, the fun began. Participants grilled the characters, trying to find out “whodunnit.”

Once they gathered their clues, trying to solve the mystery was really tough.murdermysterynight_solving

We look forward to keeping our programs interesting, and keep you on your toes. Check out our other upcoming events for adults here
